01The Challenge

FinTech Innovations provides portfolio risk analytics to independent wealth managers and smaller investment firms. Their previous reporting system required analysts to export CSV files, run Excel models, and email reports — a process taking 4-6 hours per client per week. Clients were demanding real-time visibility into portfolio exposure and risk metrics, and the manual process was limiting how many clients the team could serve.

02The Solution

Prodevel built a real-time analytics platform with a React frontend using D3.js for interactive chart visualisations. The backend uses Python FastAPI with a TimescaleDB time-series database for historical data and Redis pub/sub for streaming live market data via WebSocket to client browsers. An AI analysis layer uses GPT-4o to generate plain-English risk summaries from portfolio data, replacing the manual analyst commentary. Role-based access controls let each institutional client see only their own data.
